2026 ANC Candidate Questionnaire

Advisory Neighborhood Commissions are the closest layer of government to where people live, and CSD believes they are also where LGBTQ+ political power starts. Every cycle we ask every ANC candidate in the District, not only the ones we already know, to complete this questionnaire.

CSD members use your answers to decide our ANC endorsements this fall. This is not a scored exam. A paragraph per question is plenty and there is no minimum.

Where your answers go: say yes at the end and they are listed on OutVoteDC.org and the Queering ANCs find-your-candidate map; say no and they stay with CSD's members and endorsement committee. Either way, if you seek our endorsement we will share your name and SMD in a press release. The one question about your own identity is never shared anywhere unless you choose the public option.
